前言PREFACE: 今天的信息是說我們的主復活後的第一句話說, “平安!或“喜樂!”保羅當然確定是活在這新、實在喜樂的大能力之下。保羅書寫快要結束,再三的喜樂。我們將發現認識耶穌的大能,和找出在基督徒生活中的喜樂價值和地方。Our Lord’s first word after His resurrection is “Greetings” or “Rejoice.” Paul certainly lives in the power of this new reality of rejoicing. As Paul’s letter comes to a close, the theme of rejoicing appears again and again. We will discover what it means to know the power of Christ intimately and to examine the place and qualities of joy in the Christian life.

We explored the importance of taking our eyes off self and looking to Christ’s example as the model of living out our faith.

這週This Week我們將看到保羅喜樂方式的事實是來自與耶穌同在We will see the way in    which Paul’s joy came from the fact that Christ was with him.

 

1.     整個教會The Whole Church: 經文 Scriptures reading: 腓立比書 Philippians 4:4-7,

    4. 你們要靠主常常喜樂.我再說、你們要喜樂。5. 當叫眾人知道你們謙讓的心。主已經近了。 6. 應當一無罣慮、只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求、和感謝、將你們所要的告訴 神。7. 神所賜出人意外的平安、必在基督耶穌裡、保守你們的心懷意念。

4.    Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5. Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

 

 

 

 

解經Commentary from N.I.V.p.2554-2555 & 靈修版543-544:

V.4:4-5, 被關在監獄的人勸別人要喜樂,看來實在不可思議,保羅卻給我們上了重要的一課:

內在的態度不應受外在環境的影響。保羅充滿喜樂,因為他知道不論在什麼事上,基督都與他在一起。在這封信中,他多次教導腓立比信徒要喜樂,或者他們正需要這道理吧。我們很容易會因一些不如意的事或執著一些並不重要的事而灰心失望。如果您近來沒有喜樂,也許因為您沒有從一個正確的角度去看目前的處境。It seems strange that a man in prison would be telling a church to rejoice. But Paul’s attitude teaches us an important lesson: Our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. Paul was full of joy because he knew that no matter what happened to him, Jesus Christ was with him. Several times in this letter, Pal urged the Philippians to be joyful, probably because they needed to hear this. It’s easy to get discouraged about unpleasant circumstances or to take unimportant events too seriously. If you haven’t been joyful lately, you may not be looking at life from the right perspective.

V.4:5, 最終的喜樂來自基督。基督再來時,我們就能完全瞭解這喜樂。祂住在我們堶情A為我們成就祂的旨意Ultimate joy comes from Christ dwelling within us. Christ is near, and at his second coming we will fully realize this ultimate joy. He who lives within us will fulfill his final purposes for us.

V.4:6-7, 我們對教外的人也要謙讓,要有合理,正直和大方的態度。不要向對我們不公平的人報復,也不要強調自己的權力We are to be gentle to those outside the church, and not just to fellow believers, This means we are not to seek revenge against those who treat us unfairly, nor are we to be overly vocal about our personal rights.

V.7,上帝的平安和世界的平安不同 (約翰 14:27)真正的平安並不來自樂觀的思想,沒有分爭和愉快的心情,而是知道上帝在掌管一切。我們在基督國度堛漕迨嶼O確定的,我們的生命也已安排好了,讓上帝的平安引導您對抗憂慮吧

God’s peace is different from the world’s peace (John 14:27). True peace is not found in positive thinking, in absence of conflict, or in good feelings. It comes from knowing that God is in control. Our citizenship in Christ’s kingdom is sure, our destiny is set, and we can have victory over sin.

 

2.     充滿腦袋Filling Our Minds: 經文 Scriptures reading: 腓立比書 Philippians 4:8-9,

8.    弟兄們、我還有未盡的話.凡是真實的、可敬的、公義的、清潔的、可愛的、有美名的.若有甚麼德行、若有甚麼稱讚、這些事你們都要思念。

9.    你們在我身上所學習的、所領受的、所聽見的、所看見的、這些事你們都要去行.賜平安的 神、就必與你們同在。

8.    Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. 9. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

解經Commentary from N.I.V. p. 2555 & 靈修版544

V.8, 我們想什麼就決定了我們說什麼、行什麼保羅教導我們要思念真實的、可敬的、公義的、聖潔的、可愛的、可稱讚的、最好的、和值得讃美的事情。禱告和讀上帝的話,請求上帝幫您專住良善和純潔的事,這需多加操練,是不難做得到的。

What we put into our minds determines what comes out in our words and actions. Paul tells us to program our minds with thoughts that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy. Read God’s Word and prays, ask God to help you focus your mind on what is good and pure. It takes practice, but it can be done.

v.9, 單單聽道、讀經、甚至清楚知道神的道,都是不夠的,我們必須將神的道實踐在生活中It’s not enough to hear or read the Word of God, or even to know it well. We must also put it into practice; exposure to God’s Word is not enough. It must lead to obedience.

 

3.  滿足感Contentment: 經文 Scriptures reading: 腓立比書 Philippians 4:10-13,

10. 靠主大大的喜樂、因為你們思念我的心、如今又發生.你們向來就思念我、只是沒得機會。

11. 我並不是因缺乏說這話、我無論在甚麼景況、都可以知足、這是我已經學會了.

12. 我知道怎樣處卑賤、也知道怎樣處豐富、或飽足、或飢餓、或有餘、或缺乏、隨事隨在、我都得了秘訣。

13. 我靠著那加給我力量的、凡事都能作。

10-13, I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

 

 

 



解經Commentary from N.I.V. p.2556 &靈修版544-545 & 4:19之解經:

學習依賴上帝的應許和基督的能力幫助我們得滿足。 祂知道什麼對我們最好,祂會供應我們所需的一切。上帝必滿足我們的需要,無論是現在生活上的需要,將來的需要,甚至面對死亡的勇氣,祂都會供應我們。我們的渴求不一定是我們的需要。大部分人都想安逸過活,避免困難和痛苦。我們不一定會得到所有想要的東西,但基督會改變我們的態度和慾望,從想要得到一切變為接受上帝的供應,並有能力為祂而活

Learn to rely on God’s promises and Christ’s power to help us be content. He will supply all our needs, but in a way that he knows is best for us, we can trust that God will always meet our needs. Whatever we need on earth he will always supply, even if it is the courage to face death as Paul did. Whatever we need in heaven he will supply. We must remember, however, the difference between our wants and our needs. Most people want to feel good and avoid discomfort or pain. We may not get all that we want. By trusting in Christ, our attitudes and appetites can change from wanting everything to accepting his provision and power to live for him. (Note from 4:19)

 

4.  喜樂突發Bursts of Joy: 經文 Scriptures reading: 腓立比書 Philippians 4:21-23,

  1. 請問在基督耶穌裡的各位聖徒安。在我這裡的眾弟兄都問你們安。
  2. 眾聖徒都問你們安。在該撒家裡的人特特的問你們安。
  3. 願主耶穌基督的恩常在你們心裡
  1. Greet all the saints in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send greetings.
  2. All the saints send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar's household.
  3. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

解經Commentary from N.I.V. p.2557 &靈修版545:

腓立比教會在許多事情上都是教會的典範。他們由不同的背景的人組成,學習彼此配榙事奉保羅看到可能會有問題出現,對在這封感謝信中,教導他們如何面對可能發生的困難。保羅雖在羅馬的監獄堙A卻學到了喜樂和平安的秘訣就是效法基督和服事別人。我們將來思想集中在基督身上,就會學到合一、謙虛、喜樂、平安,並能充滿信心地為祂而活,因為有 主耶穌的恩與我們同在In many ways the Philippian church was a model congregation. It was made up of many different kinds of people who were learning to work together. But Paul recognized that problems could arise, so in his thank-you letter he prepared the Philippians for difficulties that could crop up within a body of believers. Paul though a prisoner in Rome, he had learned the true secret of joy and peace-imitating Christ and serving others. By focusing our minds on Christ we will learn unity, humility, joy, and peace. We will also be motivated to live for him. We can live confidently for him because we have “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ” with us.

平安與喜樂來自上帝 基督堙A是應與基督徒分享,並要活出於世Peace and joy that comes from God “in Christ” that should be shared with other Christians and lived out before the world.

 

5.     結論Conclusion:

1). 整個教會The Whole Church喜樂並非個人的事,是整個團體的共識。例如我個人喜樂不起,但我的弟兄和姊妹能幫忙我。當保羅在監獄中有幾個方式喜樂的敬拜上帝,感恩、溫和的態度,對上帝誠懇的禱告和請求。他說如果腓立比人給自己有喜樂,感恩、溫和態度的心依賴上帝,結果不僅是少憂慮,並且充滿了平安。如我們得到祝福時,將 每個情況拿到神的面前唱歌讚美祂。感恩的禱告將我們的煩惱變成平安,這能帶來整個教會的喜樂Rejoicing is not something left up to an individual, but rather is something the whole community does together. I may refuse to rejoice, but my brothers and sisters can help me. Paul couples joyful worship with attitudes of gentleness and thanksgiving, as well as with honest prayer and petition to God, when he was in jail. If the Philippians give themselves to a joyous, gentle, honest, reliance upon God, the result is not only a lack of anxiety but a full sense of peace. We can rejoice in the Lord by singing praises in the shower when we get blessed, if we first take “every situation” to God in prayer. Prayers of thanksgiving when we are anxious lead us to the path of peace, which can then turn into the Whole Church of joy.

第七節清楚的說, 上帝的平安將保衛您們在基督媯L論心、腦、頭都有喜樂和平安。上帝的平安圍繞在我們生命中彼得前書 15節說,這因信蒙 神能力保守的人、必能得著所豫備、到末世要顯現的救恩。保羅寫, 我們是被上帝的大能保護著。能力與平安兩則都是上帝給的恩典Verse 7 declares, “And the peace of God, … will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus”—-heart and head, emotion and thought, joy and peace. God’s peace is a sentinel on the ramparts (圍繞) of life. Peter wrote, “Kept by the power of God” (1 Peter 1:5, KJV). Paul wrote that we are kept by “the peace of God.” Power and peace, are both of God’s giving grace.

 

2)     充滿腦袋Filling Our Minds: 並不只是禱告帶來平安,若有讓耶穌在我們心上作工,為何不讓祂也在我們的思想上也作工。耶穌能改變我們的思想,和我們進行發生的事情,保羅腓立比人中是見證人。委身於基督的生命,也確知了上帝的平安在腓立比人和我們當中。Not only does prayer lead to peace, if we have let Jesus work on our hearts, why not give Him permission to work on our thought patterns as well. Jesus can transform how we think about issues and how we process things that happen to us. Paul is a witness before the Philippians. Living such a life dedicated to Christ also assures that the God of peace remains with the Philippians and us.

 

3)  滿足感Contentment: 腓立比人有思想複習保羅之話,保羅之目標是要大家喜樂於耶穌之福音和同在,有耶穌則任何事情都帶來平安和喜樂。The Philippians have renewed their concern for Paul in verse 10. However, the object of Paul’s rejoicing is Jesus the Lord. Involving Jesus in every situation brings about both peace and joy.

保羅已學會滿足, 他在任何情況都能滿足 ! 依靠耶穌基督就有能力和得到所需要. Paul has had to learn contentment, to be “content in any and every situation! He depended on Jesus Christ alone for both strength and the supply of his needs.

來自上帝在基督裡面有平安與喜樂, 我們是要活出榜樣可分享於世界

Peace and joy that comes from God “in Christ” reflects a peace and joy that should be shared with other Christians and lived out before the world.

 

4)  喜樂突發Bursts of Joy: 保羅4:13鼓勵所有上帝子民, 他是叮嚀腓立比人和我們,所有之訊息和相互言談都必須想到耶穌基督, 我們看到保羅就是活出模範。Paul instructs the Philippians, “Greet all God’s people in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:13). He is reminding the Philippians that all of our relationships and even messages we communicate are done with Christ in mind. We see this in the life of Paul.

這封保羅書信末了之喜樂突發真好呀! 我們以保羅寫給腓立比人書信和我們這成熟之基督徒就會將耶穌之受苦和復活放在心裡面, 從此學到和住在平安和喜樂中, 我們之生命和思想活出模範來, 保羅留給我們之祝福就在四:23: 願主耶穌基督的恩常在你們心裡” (腓立比書 4:23)What a joyful way to end a letter that bursts with joy! We could spend the rest of our lives seeking to live out the model for the mature Christian life that Paul sets for us in this letter to the Philippians. As we conform our life (minds included) to the suffering and resurrection of Jesus, and as we learn to live in ways that result in peace and rejoicing, Paul leaves us with a blessing: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen” (Philippians 4:23).

In what ways does a relationship with Christ give us the confidence to proclaim like Paul, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”? From your life experience, how would you define (or provide examples of) “all things”?
