Title: God Uses Wicked to Accomplish His Purpose
Scripture: Genesis 50:20
Reading: The Life of Joseph - Genesis Chs. 37:2 - 50:26.
1. Preface
We know God is all powerful and always faithfulness, it is true, not only for the life of individual, but it’s true in our lives of nations. And we know that God always have the best for us. How God uses the wicked unbeliever in the life of believer. How God uses the wicked brothers in the life of Joseph that until he had a good job that he had found himself?

2. Contents
First, Joseph’s brothers hated him, so they tried to get rid of him when he was 17-year-old. One of his brothers said, “No. We don’t kill him. We sell Joseph as a slave.”

Next, we see God uses Joseph’s very wicked brother to save his life. ” Joseph sold to Egypt. “The LORD was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.” (Genesis 39:2) -

Also, God uses a wicked person, this officer, Potiphar’s wife. She accused Joseph and put him in a jail. God Uses Wicked to Accomplish His Purpose. Joseph interprets dreams very well in the prison.

Then, Joseph was introduced to Pharaoh. He proved himself a good interpreter. He interpreted a dream for Pharaoh. Pharaoh was so happy and put Joseph as a head of minister. Joseph was a 30-Year-Old man who was a minister of the whole Egypt.

Later, How God used Joseph? Joseph in Charge of Egypt (Ge.41:41).
Question1, How is the Joseph of chapter 41 unlike the Joseph of chapter 37? (Please write your answers on the next page that we provided.)
Question 2. How do you account for his maturity, zeal for his work, wisdom to run the government and travel throughout Egypt? Might the 13 intervening years of humiliation and prison (ch.39-40) have gifted or energized him?

Finally, Joseph’s Brothers Go to Egypt (Please read Genesis whole ch.42)
Question 3, When someone has deeply wronged you; are you most likely to seek revenge or reconciliation? (Be honest.) What does this tell you about yourself? (Write on the answers sheet please!)
Question 4, What is the longest period of time you have been separated from your own brothers or your family? What was memorable about your reunion?
